Successful closing of sale of Polymetrix shares
Uzwil, Switzerland, May 16, 2018 – Bühler successfully closed the sale of 80% of the Polymetrix shares to Sanlian Hope as per March 22, 2018. The Bühler Group remains a minority shareholder with 20% of the Polymetrix shares.
On November 10, 2017, Sanlian Hope signed a share purchase agreement for 80% of the Polymetrix shares with the Bühler Group. After approval by the Chinese state and Chinese stock exchange regulations, the closing of the sale was successfully completed as per March 22, 2018. The direct buyer is Sanlian Material Science S.à.r.l. in Luxembourg, a subsidiary of Sanlian Hope. With its 20% ownership, the Bühler Group is now a minority shareholder of Polymetrix and remains represented on the board.
Polymetrix operates under the name of “Polymetrix, a Sanlian-Bühler Company”.
