The Smartgrist grist mill grinds malt and barley into husks, grist, and flour in two passages. It has a small footprint, making it a good solution for small breweries with brew sizes between 20 hl and 40 hl.
The compact and elegant stainless steel design is well suited for show breweries. The Smartgrist can also be installed in larger industrial plants thanks to a pressure shock resistance of up to 0.5 bar.
The grist mill can be fitted with an optional permanent magnet in the feed gate to prevent pieces of metal entering the mill. The roller assembly is also spring-loaded so the roller gap can open to let stones pass through without damaging the mill.
The Smartgrist is suitable for direct mashing without grist containers for brew sizes of up to 20 hl. You can also use it for indirectly mashing up to 40 hl per brew.
