The Meincke OCC overhead cooling conveyor cools the baked sponge cake band to ambient temperature as soon as it leaves the oven and the turning drum turns it for further processing.
The overhead cooling conveyor uses the free space above the production line to cool the sponge cake band at ambient temperature, without using additional energy resources. At the end of the cooling process, the turning drum turns the dough band around so that the structured side of the cake is processed further, which is important for steps such as jam depositing.
