Bühler's proven flaking mill DOZC is employed in the oilseed processing industry for the flaking of cracked soy beans and soft oil seeds such as sunflower, canola and corn germ. Proper oilseed flaking is a critical factor in the oil extraction process, as the seed's microscopic oil cells are ruptured, allowing the extraction media to penetrate the material. Intelligent design ensures constant product throughput.
  • Bühler's flaking mill DOZC processes products smoothly and efficiently. Among its intelligent features are an integrated feeder and mixer unit for even feeding and wear and tear on the rolls. Two mechanically adjustable scrapers remove stuck flakes from the roll to maintain constant product flow.
  • The rolls' large diameter ensures excellent product intake and high quality even at high throughput capacities.

A powerful roll grinding device ORBA provides for grinding of the roll without removal. The favourable arrangement of the lubrication points means that all bearings can be greased from outside the unit during operation, thus increasing up-time.
