Bühler has been present in South Africa since 1972 operating offices, manufacturing facilities, and a service station in Honeydew, Johannesburg.  In addition, there are further service stations located in Cape Town, Maputo (Mozambique) and Lusaka (Zambia) in order to efficiently serve customers in the entire Southern African region.

In total, the SAF Sub-region is responsible for the following countries: Angola, Botswana, Democratic of Congo, Lesotho, Madagascar, Mauritius, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, La Reunion, Solomon Islands, Seychelles, Swaziland, South Africam Zambia and Zimbabwe.
