Our international Consumer Foods trainee program is a career path that carries weight with numerous corporations around the world. You will get to know the Consumer Foods division from the ground up, assume responsibility quickly, and purposefully expand your strengths.
The program in detail
Our trainee program teaches you about all relevant areas within our Consumer Foods division. Over a period of 24 months, you will pass through the core elements of the program, which consists of 6 blocks of 3 or 6 months each. You will get to know the entire value chain and you will work in the departments production, engineering, project management and service. This job rotation system gives you practical insight into these areas and offers you to explore different perspectives.
Our international Consumer Foods trainee program is directed at dedicated college graduates with a degree in technology. You must possess above average qualifications and wish to assume a role of leadership and responsibility within our company in the medium term.
You will mainly be located in Austria, but at least 9 months of your training will be spent abroad at one of our sites (China, Denmark, the Netherlands, Brazil, Germany or Switzerland). You will work independently on one or more projects for the length of the trainee program.
What you can expect
We aim to systematically prepare you for a position of responsibility within our corporation. We do this by including you in daily operations and making you responsible for pre-defined projects. As part of this process, you will be given ongoing professional and personal guidance by a mentor from your respective target area and country of origin.
During your time as a trainee, you will participate in intensive training sessions. These will include various professional training courses, personality development training, and language courses as part of foreign deployment, as well as business and project management training.

You will receive an open-ended employment contract. We offer remuneration according to market conditions and individual performance. The gross annual salary during the trainee program amounts to EUR 38,500.

Here’s what we expect:
- A Master’s degree with excellent grades in a technical field (mechanical engineering, electrotechnology, mechatronics or industrial engineering)
- A maximum of two years working experience
- International experience during your studies
- Fluent English skills – and ideally other language proficiencies
- An open-minded, communicative personality
- Commercial and technical understanding
- Entrepreneurial thinking and the willingness to take on responsibility
- Organizational talent, independent working method and a high level of self-motivation
- Readiness to travel
- Willingness to work abroad after the trainee program
