Our International Management Trainee Program offers an exciting opportunity to assume responsibility, work closely with top management and contribute to international projects.
Do you want to make a change when you go to work every day? Grow a business with new ideas? Gain leadership experience? Make a difference to our planet - what we eat, how we travel and communicate? Do you have at least two years of work experience, excellent university grades along with the drive, ambition and passion to succeed?
Our International Management Trainee Program offers the opportunity to lead real projects and work with top leaders in a global business.
A) You will work side by side with a member of our senior management. Be involved in strategic decision-making as well as in the budgeting process and learn about leadership. Find out first-hand what taking business responsibility is like.
B) In one of our 140 locations, you can focus on developing an international career, working with colleagues and customers around the globe and being exposed to a thriving environment.
C) You will oversee a large project and lead it from start to finish. Plan, bring a team together, overcome difficulties, meet deadlines and assume responsibility.
The projects – technical, market-driven or organizational – can be challenging. But you will not be alone. You will have a mentor from another department to support you over the three years of the Management Trainee Program. In addition, a coach will help you to positively impact your own development and life as well as your professional career.
As a mentor, I am completely independent from a trainee’s reporting structure or projects. So they can share their thoughts and views with me very openly.
Mike Häfeli,
Mentor

Erika Georget graduated from our International Management Trainee Program in 2018. Over the three years, she worked on projects in R&D, portfolio management and business development in different Bühler locations. Today, she works as a Project Leader in our food safety team.
It gave me the chance to discover Bühler from several angles, develop skills, work on challenging projects and build a strong professional network.
