Hotmix™ Dosing, weighing and cooking plant

Production of a wide range of confectionery masses, such as caramel, jelly, toffee and sugar binder. The Hotmix™ is a completely automatic, batchwise dosing, weighing and cooking plant. All ingredients are dosed exactly into the jacketed weighing and mixing vessel according to a freely programmable recipe/sequence and are mixed properly by a propeller mixer. The homogenous mix will be discharged into the lower batch cooker type TBT.

The batch cooker type TBT is designed with a double jacket for saturated steam and an automatic temperature control. A special stirrer with wall and bottom scrapers ensures a proper mix and avoids fouling of the mass on the inner heating surface. As an option the cooker is available in vacuum design, either for the cooking of temperature-sensitive masses under vacuum or for the cooling of the masses after the cooking process. The discharge of the batch cooker into a buffer vessel is supported by compressed air or by a pump.

The number of vessels, vessel design and volume of the vessels/cookers are based upon line capacity and recipe and will be designed according to each case.

The control/operation is designed with PLC and touch screen.
