I began my career with Bühler in 2014. I started by building a solution for industrializing the rice flakes process – something that had not changed for more than 50 years. I gradually started to handle multiple projects in support and lead roles. I now head up Corporate Technology for South Asia.
I lead the Innovation team and develop new business opportunities for Bühler in South Asia. This involves product development, user research, concept generation, prototyping, testing, form and interface design.
That was when I saw my first concept take shape. We made a quick proof of concept out of a dustbin and some scrap material. Every time we convert an idea to a product, it is just as exciting.

My first degree was a Bachelor of Engineering in Bangalore. I then earned a Master’s degree in Applied Mechanics at the Indian Institute of Technology in Madras. I completed another Master’s degree in Industrial Design at the National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad.
The company’s vision is to reduce energy and waste by 30% while we innovate for a better world. This vision is very bold and easy to identify with for our employees and our customers. I am proud that I can help achieve this vision in the Corporate Technology team by developing new ideas and turning them into business opportunities.
