PreFiner S M™ 900 / 1300

The prerefiner of type PreFiner S M™ has been designed for small to mid-size production lines with a low level of automation. This allows a broad range of chocolate, filling, and coating masses to be pre-processedThe output material has a reproducible plasticity and a fineness ranging from 70 to 250 microns with a narrow particle size distribution. This Bühler prerefiner is available with two roll lengths: 900 and 1300 mm. Ideal price-to-performance ratio through cost-optimized design.
The PreFiner S M™ is a dependable, easy-to-handle, and rugged machine in the accustomed Bühler quality. The process zone is optimally matched to the customer’s specific recipes. This enables the required product quality and the predefined throughput to be achieved on a reproducible basis.

Consistent, optimal fineness and plasticity of all recipes.
  • Thanks to high-precision gap setting, the PreFiner S M™ is capable of also processing difficult products such as extremely fluid or very dry masses (crumb). This ensures maximum flexibility.
  • The reproducible recipe parameters ensure optimal matching of the product to the downstream five-roll refiners. This enables an end product to be achieved with a consistent taste and fineness.

High shear force for optimal flavor development.
The high shearing capacity ensures maximum release of the bound fat with simultaneous calibration of the crystallized sugar. The result of this efficient process is a homogeneous product – with ideal taste properties.

New standard in hygienic design and efficiency.
The PreFiner S sets new standards in hygiene, accessibility and maintenance friendliness. A new hygienic concept with optimized spaces facilitates and accelerates cleaning.
