Johan Westman is the President and CEO of AAK, a global leader in specialized plant-based oils and fats. He assumed the role in 2018, bringing more than two decades of international leadership experience across industrial manufacturing, engineering, and consulting.
Before joining AAK, Johan held senior executive roles in the automotive and industrial sectors and began his career in international management consulting. He holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management from Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Under his leadership, AAK has delivered strong profit growth by co-developing plant-based oils and fats ingredients with customers, making tangible progress towards their ambitious sustainability targets, and fostering a high-performance culture.
Johan also serves as Chairman of the Board at Absolent Air Care Group AB and is a board member at Thule Group AB.
