Henrik Jørck Nielsen is the Executive Vice President for Strategy & Integration at Novonesis, where he is responsible for steering the company's strategy, identifying strategic opportunities, and driving commercial excellence.  

Henrik's extensive career in the biotechnology industry has endowed him with a robust skill set in Biotechnology, Pharmaceuticals, Management, Business Leadership, R&D, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), and Leadership. He also oversees integration, strategy, M&A, ventures, scouting, external innovation, and commercial excellence at Novonesis. 

A significant highlight of Henrik's career has been his leadership in the successful merger of Novozymes and Chr. Hansen, creating a unified company of 10,000 employees at Novonesis. 

This monumental task showcased his exceptional ability to manage large-scale integrations and realize synergies. 

Henrik is a highly accomplished business development professional, holding a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the National Cancer Institute at NIH. His academic and professional journey reflects a strong foundation in both scientific research and strategic business management. 

In addition to his executive role, Henrik serves on the Board of Directors of Synoptik Fonden in Denmark
