Interesting objects wanted

Let’s create a museum together!

The Bühler company is proud of its history – we want to honor this accordingly with a museum. We are therefore on the lookout for exciting, curious, interesting, special, diverse, even extraordinary objects and documents which are contemporary witnesses of our actions and activities.

We are looking for objects which were manufactured by Bühler or which represent our company or demonstrate our innovative achievements. This could be objects related to our corporate and technical history, but also to Swiss and international history.

Bühler vacuum cleaner

Here are some examples:

Small items like pens, commemorative coins, pocket watches, letter openers, etc. (We already have some of these, but we may still be missing the extraordinary!)

Personal everyday objects like work clothes, work equipment, work diaries and photographs. (We want to document the people behind the machines!)

We already have a drying machine and a vacuum cleaner, but we are still missing the Bühler washing machine!

Larger machines which we have manufactured, and which we might no longer be aware of today are also of great importance for the museum!

Working tools and aids, measuring devices, and other tools (Always important: there must always be a reference to Bühler.)

We are also looking for pictures, books, films, sound documents, or even posters which define us or even make us unique!

Do you have something that would complement our museum? Have we even forgotten something important? Please contact us via e-mail to mosaic@buhlergroup.com.

We need a photo of the relevant objects and documents. Help us by additionally providing relevant background information about your objects and documents. This way we can select and decide, create an inventory, classify the items historically and from the company’s history perspective, and finally exhibit them in the museum. Everything that is not defined and clearly described is of no value to the museum and unfortunately, we cannot use it.

We are looking forward to many inputs and reactions. Together, we would like the museum to reflect who we are as a Bühler company, where we have come from, and where our path is leading us.

Ultrafine dispersion with the centrifugal mill ZR 120

This video from the year 2000 shows our ZR 120 centrifugal mill, which at that time marked a new era in ultrafine dispersion. Today, we no longer have this solution in our product range, as with the MicroMedia series we offer the latest technologies in ultrafine dispersion and enable our customers to achieve increased efficiency and cost savings.
