Die Casting Dashboard brings you real-time KPI information

The Die Casting Dashboard, available on Carat, Evolution and Fusion machines with DataNet or DataView control units, provides an immediate overview of your production status. You can look at individual die-casting machines in detail. Charts, curves and KPIs make it easy for you to keep an eye on production and plan, manage and improve performance based on real data.

For example, key performance indicators like the historical cycle time of each die-casting cell are displayed in a chronological way, making it easy for you to monitor and review performance, and anticipate issues. 

The Die Casting Dashboard also enables you to compare performance across die-casting machines and plants, so your production staff can quickly identify areas for improvement.

At the same time, all information can be displayed centrally on any device, 24/7, giving your managers comparisons between machines, shifts, die programs or facilities.

Accurate Downtime Analysis based on root cause data

Downtime Analysis, a comprehensive analysis tool of machine events, provides root cause reporting from each die-casting cell. .

A few building blocks constitute this tool. At first glance, the cell performance can be interpreted via “uptime” and “downtime”. Additionally, the most critical downtime causes are ranked for frequency or duration. Your maintenance experts and technologists can then analyze each category of technical issue and define proper counter measures. Regularly using Downtime Analysis can help you to effectively increase uptime. 

By monitoring and analyzing real-time performance, and benchmarking across time periods, equipment and shifts, the Die Casting Dashboard and Downtime Analysis used together enable your engineers to drive best practice and improve OEE.
