I began my journey with Bühler in 2017 as part of the industrial engineering design team in Brazil. My background in Mechanical Engineering allowed me to contribute effectively to the team. Later, I transitioned to the Supply Chain department, providing technical advice. In 2020, I was honored to be nominated for the Bühler Excelerator program, which recognizes individuals with exceptional leadership potential. This recognition paved the way for an international development opportunity. In 2021, I moved to Minneapolis, USA, to take on the role of Procurement Manager Manufacturing and Logistics (ML).
As a Procurement Manager ML, I lead and develop purchasing agents and buyers, manage supplier relationships, and negotiate terms and pricing with vendors. I also collaborate closely with industrial engineers, production planning, and suppliers to drive supply chain efficiency.
What I enjoy most is solving complex problems related to production and supply chain, ensuring that Bühler consistently delivers on its promises to customers. The sense of achievement that comes from enabling our customers to be successful is incredibly fulfilling.
Bühler has been instrumental in my professional growth, not only through the Bühler Excelerator but the Master of Bühler Management (MBM) program. With invaluable support from very senior leaders and the Executive Board, both programs have helped me develop profound leadership skills and strategic perspectives.
My move to the United States, in particular, was transformational. I have been able to immerse myself in a new culture and different ways of doing business, which has enriched my perspective and made me a better professional.
In September 2024 I seize my next internal career opportunity as Project Manager, relocating to the city of Raleigh, North Carolina in US. This exciting move marks a new chapter in my professional journey, and I can't wait to bring my passion to my new role!
The international opportunity in Minneapolis has been a major step in my career, allowing me to take on greater responsibilities and develop my skills further.
