Lentils

Intake and pre-cleaning

1

The foundation of good milling

Pre-cleaning is key for a productive milling process. Pulses contain impurities and foreign materials. Remove them before storage to increase the service life of your machinery and to create hygienic storage conditions.

Storage and drying systems

2

Gentle drying

We have developed storage and drying systems especially for beans and pulses. These are extremely gentle and reduce thermal stresses on the beans. This helps to improve quality and reduce loss during processing.

Cleaning and grading

3

Removing impurities

Use the cleaning section to remove contaminants and impurities from the beans. We have designed special grading machines for beans and pulses to provide an even distribution of product and an even result.

Dehulling

4

Machines designed for pulses

We offer DRHG Pulsroll  designed exclusively for the processing of pulses. These minimize brokens and produce different finishes for different types of pulses.

Process dryers

5

Drying during the dehulling process

The drying process helps to maintain the product moisture and to split the pulses.

Optical sorter

6

Remove even subtle impurities

Our Sortex optical sorters remove even subtle light and dark color defects, spots, damaged grains and foreign materials. You can even sort based on shape.

Grinding

7

Creating a finer flour

The beans are then ground into flour.

Bagging

8

Where precision counts

The finished products are either bagged or loaded in bulk. Here it is important to handle the products gently. Precise dosing and weighing are also key. We offer a wide range of manual and fully automated loading and bagging systems.
