Malt

Intake / Reception

1

Intake and reception

At the beginning of the process, the malt needs to enter the brewery. To that end, we offer a number of different solutions to start this process.

Conveying

2

Conveying and Transportation

Reliable conveyors are key to making a plant run smoothly and economically. Our conveyors can handle any type of grain.

Weighing

3

Weighing

The automatic hopper scale can be integrated into your in-plant process checks and allows weighing granular and powdery products. Its integrated sensor system ensures optimal reliability and outstanding accuracy.

Cleaning

4

Cleaning

Our compact screening machine removes light and coarse fractions. Combined with our destoner, which separates stones, glass and other heavy parts from a continuous product stream, this is the perfect solution for your brewery.

Conditioning

5

Conditioning

Conditioning prepares malt for the brewing process by adding water to the malt. Our conditioning systems are designed for rapid, homogeneous water absorption and optimal mixing of water and malt.

Grinding

6

Grinding malt for brewing

Our 4- and 6-roller mills ensure optimal grist composition for maximum yields, shortest lautering times and top quality beer. Our 4-roller mills are suitable for any lauter-tun system. Our 6-roller mill with husk separation can also be used with mash filters.

Husk seperation

7

DDH – Husk separation

Grinding with our Maltomat with starch recovery from husks using the vibro-sieving machine offers economical and qualitative benefits by increasing the brewhouse capacities and compensating for fluctuating malt qualities. Furthermore, the reduction of astringent polyphenols in the husk leads to a improved beer taste and longer shelf life.
