Bühler Leybold Optics offers a broad range of components for its large-area coating equipment to help you optimize your production. Our components are always designed with a focus on efficiency and performance to keep the cost of ownership as low as possible. Flexible transport system
The flexible roller design of the LEYBOLD OPTICS GLC series H can easily be adapted to three different roller pitches to perfectly match your glass sizes, whether it be batches with multiple small substrates or high-volume production involving full-size panes. Bühler Leybold Optics always equips you with the most flexible and efficient solution for a high-performance production environment.

Top-pumping cathodes
The Bühler Leybold Optics’ top-pumping cathode design aims for a level of efficiency that meets the standards of leading production facilities worldwide. Additionally, by combining the pumping and sputtering compartment, the LEYBOLD OPTICS GLC series H glass vacuum coater has a significantly reduced footprint.

Hydraulic chamber lids
The LEYBOLD OPTICS GLC series H is available with optional hydraulic lids. Hydraulic lids optimize maintenance procedures by avoiding the need to use a crane to open the chambers. A further benefit is that no floor space is required to store the lids during maintenance.

Magnetic carrier guidance system
To minimize the particle impact in the LEYBOLD OPTICS GLC 2000V glass vacuum coater and LEYBOLD OPTICS DIS series V vertical inline sputter systems, an optional magnetic carrier guidance system can be included.

Carrier return module
The flexible carrier return module of the LEYBOLD OPTICS DIS series V can be equipped with a transversal module in order to coat the substrate’s rear surface on the carrier return track or with a rotational module to coat the substrate’s front surface on the carrier return track. Using the rotational module, the overall footprint of the machine can be minimized, while the substrate can be processed on both sides without breaking the vacuum by using the transversal module.
