Pellets and inserts

Winding

1

Winding

The pre-punched belt is fed through a spool. It is automatically wound and fed to a bending cutting tool.

Pressing

2

Pressing

The contacts or conductor tracks are brought into their final shape with a bending separating tool. The parts can then be brought out of the tool using robots, linear handling or flying die plates.

Preparation

3

Preparation

On the preparation turntable, different parts for the assembly are brought into the correct location and position.

Insertion and removal

4

Insertion and removal

A gripper picks up the prepared inserts, places them for overmoulding in the cavities of the injection mould and removes them later.

Injection moulding

5

Injection moulding

The machine is loaded and unloaded with industrial robots or linear handling systems, from simple parts removal to highly complex contact grid groups, in simple injection processes as well as in multi-component and high-temperature injection processes.

Quality checking

6

Quality checking

A turntable is used for various types of quality inspection and control devices. The round table has a corresponding number of stations depending on the number of test units.

Optical checking

7

Optical checking

The camera is used for position and contour checking.

Length checking

8

Length checking

Electromechanical probes are used to check the pin length.

Electrical checking

9

Electrical checking

This device is used for testing electrical transmission and high voltage testing of contact pins.

Laser marking

10

Laser marking

The laser marking device is used for permanent direct marking of data matrix codes.

Palletising

11

Palletising

A tray exchange system enables fully automatic loading and unloading of various product packaging.
