Bühler Joinville opens its doors for 100 customers

Joinville, 15.06.2012 – On July 15, 2012 Bühler Joinville and Bühler Sanmak welcomed around 100 customers for a guided tour of the new plant. They were able to see the Bühler production processes and the state-of-the art machines acquired for the unit. During the Open House event, customers had the chance to take a closer look at several Bühler machines, which were displayed in an area of over 200 m2 called “Bühler World”. Equipment exhibited: Four- and Eight-Roller Mill Dolomit MDDP, Sanimix Paddle and Chopper Mixer MRMA, Combi-Cleaner MTKB, Pearler BSPB, HighPoly Polisher DRPA, Sortex M3+, Aeroglide Dryer and Pellet Mill Kubex. In this area, visitors also had access to information about the services carried out at the plant (roll grinding and machine retrofitting), industrial automation solutions, the project management processes of the engineering department, and others.

In the evening, Bühler Joinville invited its guests to a formal dinner at the plant premises to celebrate the new investment. Henrique Oliveira, Marketing Manager Bühler South America, was the host of the event and introduced speeches from Edwin Boller, Head of Region South America, Ian Roberts, Chief Technical Officer of the Group and Andreas Flückiger, Head of Region Middle East/Africa, who represented the Group’s board at the event.

Ian Roberts spoke of the challenges of the world food industry and Bühler’s role in this context. He showed how the expertise Bühler has gained over 150 years, and the company’s focus on the development of innovations, bring real benefits for customers in human and animal food safety, human nutrition and sustainable engineering.

During the ceremony, the dance group Cia. Jovem da Escola from the Bolshoi Theater in Brazil presented a superb performance for the guests. This included the show, “Divertissement”, which demonstrates the beauty and romanticism of the “Moszkowski Waltz”, the energy and power of “Gopak”, the intensity of “Spring Waters” and the contemporaneous choreography of “I swore for love to find you some day”.
