Opportunities for the die casting industry
Motor vehicles are considered one of the causes of CO2 pollution in cities and congested areas. The simplest and most effective way to reduce vehicle CO2 emissions is to achieve a reduction in weight. The CO2 discussion and adherence to EU limits therefore require new approaches to light-weight construction and represent an opportunity for future die casting solutions (e.g. structure parts, downsizing of engines).
Bühler supports its customers with regard to these pending changes through the provision of state-of-the-art, flexible technology and tailored processes, consulting and other services. Whether en-ergy optimisation of a company or production conversion to manufacture low-gas, ductile parts is involved – Bühler considers itself a reliable partner ready and willing to serve the die casting industry.
