The course will be customized to suit your individual needs. The training concentrates on the wafer itself, and in-depth discussion of baking parameters is possible. Moisture migration, conditioning parameters, cream technology and properties of enrobed wafer products can be reviewed. Practical experience in the lab complements the theoretical training. State-of-the-art analysis methods such as a texture analyzer, a moisture meter and a stereo microscope will be used.

Head of Application Technology Wafer Equipment

Andreas Clemenz

Andreas Clemenz graduated in food and biotechnology from the BOKU Vienna (University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences). Andreas has experience working in product development for muesli, cereal bars and confectionery products such as wafers and chocolates. In 2013 he joined our company to lead our team of technologists in Leobendorf.

Head of Training Wafer Equipment

Georg Scheibenpflug

Georg Scheibenpflug graduated from the TU (University of Technology) in Vienna. He has held several leading positions within our company. After 11 years of heading the Field Engineering department, he became Head of Internal Machine Commissioning and later Head of Quality Management. He built up the Wafer Training department and has been Head of Training Wafer Equipment since 2009.

Application Technologist

Patrick Kienmeyer

Patrick Kienmeyer graduated as a nutritionist from the University of Vienna, writing his diploma thesis at the BOKU (University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences). In 2011 he joined our team as an application technologist. Patrick has been supporting our wafer customers in the Wafer Innovation Center in Leobendorf as well as on-site. He also shares his knowledge and experience as a trainer.

Laboratory equipment

You will work with a single-plate oven, a batter viscosity flow cup, a moisture meter, a texture analyzer, a stereo microscope, wafer thickness gauges and various laboratory scale batter mixers.

Other amenities

On-site in Leobendorf you will find a canteen, a company restaurant, a coffee corner and a well-equipped classroom.
