In this hands-on course at our Bakery Innovation Center in Uzwil, Switzerland, you will learn the basics of mechanical and electrical maintenance for bakery production and ingredient handling, to level A1.

The course covers:

  • Background information on the processes and technology
  • How to organize technical maintenance
  • How to work with process diagrams, flow sheets and electro schemes
  • Food safety and hygienic design
  • Mechanical, electrical engineering and maintenance for machines, peripherals and liquids

You will combine theory with practical exploration of an industrial baking plant. At the end, you will have an understanding of mechanical and electrical maintenance and be ready to put what you have learned into practice.

This course is ideal for those who are already active in industrial bakery production or ingredient handling.
