About Bühler Schmidt-Seeger

Since September 2010 the company Schmidt-Seeger belongs to the Bühler Group.

Schmidt-Seeger GmbH with headquarters in Beilngries north of Munich and further manufacturing plants in Döbeln near Dresden and in Delhi/India came into being as a result of the merger between Gebrüder Schmidt AG and Seeger GmbH in the year 2001.

Through the acquisition of the German grain management specialist Bühler has decisively enhanced its capabilities in the fields of grain handling, cleaning, drying, dedusting and storage, particularly in the sector of grain collection, and integrated them in its Grain Logistics business unit.

Bühler Grain Logistics offers complete solutions, machinery and components along the entire value chain for food – from the collection terminals for agricultural products to their processing. Whether for silo plants for the storage of crops, transshipment terminals for the grain trade or customized malting plants: Bühler is from the point of project planning through to commissioning a globally competent partner with an individual local customer service. In addition, safety, reliability and sustainability are the pillars for a trusting business relationship.

Grain Logistics has its Center of Competence in Beilngries. The business unit, which operates additional sites in Döbeln near Dresden, Uzwil, Madrid, Delhi und Changzhou, China, has around 700 employees. Customers are served by Bühler’s worldwide sales organization.
