About CDD

Control Design and Development Limited are proud to be a professional integration partner and solution provider for all forms of process automation in the food and petfood industries. We offer a variety of packages to meet the need for reliable control systems and secure back up services.

 

CDD was founded in 1981 and now employs 50 multi-disciplined team members, with skills encompassing high level IT, PLC/SCADA, Hardware Design/Build and Electrical Installation. For a long time we have had our own panel building facility in Peterborough.  

 

In 1991 CDD became part of the Buhler family. Buhler is a global technology partner supplying process engineering solutions for the production of food and engineered products. As part of the Buhler Group we can provide you with high quality engineering and project services worldwide.  

 

A wide range of experience and technological capability allows CDD to provide a solution on most commonly used hardware and software platforms, and we can comply with most customer specific standards. 

 

In order to provide a solution on specific technologies, CDD has formed partnerships with the major players in the supply chain. 

 

Our internal quality system ensures that every project is managed and implemented professionally and on schedule. 

 

All projects are implemented in accordance with ISO9001: 2000 and TickIT.
