Grain handling systems
Following the unloading of grain, oilseeds and derivatives from ships, rail and road vehicles, the bulk materials are conveyed onward within the overall facility. The Grain Handling Business Unit specializes in gentle bulk materials conveying.
Buhler conveying systems are robust and reliable and are characterized by their high operational safety and availability. They are applied for material reception (intake), distribution into storage silos and discharge from silos to loading stations or to further processes. High throughput rates ensure fast and cost-effectiv bulk material handling.
The selection of the conveying method depends on the specific task:
CarryWay chain conveyors (throughput up to 1500 t/h)
Chain conveyors (throughput up to 200 t/h)
