Portacombi Combined unloading and loading systems

In addition to individual ship loaders and unloaders, Buhler also builds combined ship unloaders and loaders for efficient unloading and loading of grain, oilseeds and derivatives.

These units are designed for efficient and trouble-free material handling with throughput rates up to 1,440 metric tons per hour and for ship sizes up to 120,000 DWT (Dead Weight Tons). These combined unloaders and loaders are sized to suit the specific requirements and are optimally tailored to local conditions.

Combination systems offer operators a wide variety of possible applications as mobile, stationary, or autonomous units with their own energy supply or with electric mains supply or also combined.

For the configuration of these combination systems, pneumatic or mechanical ship unloaders are combined with mechanical ship loaders. (Details see individual unloaders and loaders)
