Developing the Functionality of Nanoparticles
Buhler PARTEC offers its customers solutions based on tailor-made nanoparticles. The upgraded nanoparticles can be applied in different industries and products, for example in lacquers, plastics, and also textiles.
Buhler supplies tailor-made nanoparticle suspensions or the associated production processes on a turnkey basis to enable customers to produce suspensions themselves. The functionalized nanoparticles are incorporated in customers’ products, resulting in a sustained improvement of the product properties: Thus, for example, colored plastics become lightfast, or coats of paint more scratch-resistant.
